My life has changed quite a much, and in a good sense, in these past few months. There has been a noticeable calm in my life lately and I don’t know if this is what entering in your 30s feel like but I personally will like to thank my God for all the blessings that made my life feel more like mine.

Is there a switch that flips where you suddenly look at a crowd and think, ‘No, I think I’d rather go home to my family and my cats’?

Whatever it is, I’ve been loving it.

There is a distinct shift that happens when you stop trying to force the puzzle pieces of your existence together and just let them lie where they fall. For a long time, I tried to accept a way of living life that had me wearing the right socializing caps, showing up to everything, and fitting in.

And then one day, well not exactly in a day but there was a phase where I started feeling like I am done, and want to have a life with moments more of where I feel like its mine.

I handed the what ifs and all my mental load back to the universe.

And that is when everything finally started to feel like mine.
